Lisa Gildea is a highly creative, multidisciplinary designer with extensive experience in brand strategy and identity design. She has over a decade of experience in her field, having graduated with a first class honours degree in graphic design in 2008.
After graduating, Lisa spent eight years working in branding agencies in London. Five of these years were spent at Small Back Room, starting off in a freelance role and progressing to a role as senior designer. Small Back Room specialise in destination branding, and Lisa was lead designer and brand guardian for East Village London. She also worked on numerous branding projects for property industry clients like Delancey and L&Q, print and illustration for Shakespeare's Globe and Real Estate Balance and on the naming strategy for new East London development Barking Riverside.
In 2018, Lisa decided to go back to freelancing, preferring to work one on one with clients. Since then has worked on branding projects ’ from brand strategy and visual identity to website design and illustration ’ for clients like Welltold, Visit Wexford, Euro-Toques Ireland and Taste Wexford and on numerous illustrated maps for food and tourism industry clients. Currently based in Reading, Lisa continues to work for a growing client base in Ireland and the UK.
